Turnbuckles (Hook & Eye, DIN 1480)

Turnbuckles — also called rigging screws — are tensioning devices used to adjust the length and tension of wire rope, cables, tie rods and guy wires. The forged hook end hooks onto an anchor point while the eye end takes a pin or bolt, giving a fast, adjustable connection for applications where permanent welding is not practical.
