Fastener Supply for Tenders, Projects and EPC Contracts
For contractors, EPC companies and trading houses bidding on infrastructure work, the fastener package is small in value but critical in schedule and compliance. We supply the bolts, nuts, washers, anchors and threaded rods for the whole bill of quantities — together with the documentation your bid and your client’s QA/QC will ask for.
One supplier for the entire lot, one set of certificates, one delivery schedule you can put into your bid.
What we supply against a tender bill of quantities
A single tender package usually mixes several product families and standards. We quote the complete lot so you do not have to split the order across three suppliers and three sets of paperwork.
| Scope | Typical specification |
|---|---|
| Structural bolting | ASTM A325 / A490 heavy hex assemblies, EN 14399-3/-4 (HR/HRC), DIN 6914 / 6915, ISO 7411 / 7412 |
| General hex bolts | ISO 4014 / 4017, DIN 931 / 933, ASME B18.2.1, GB/T 5782 / 5783, class 4.8 to 12.9 |
| Nuts & washers | ISO 4032 / 4033, DIN 934 / 985 / 6923, ASTM A563 / A194 2H, F436 hardened washers, DIN 125 / 127 / 6796 |
| Anchors & rods | Wedge, sleeve, undercut and chemical anchors; threaded rods DIN 975 / 976, ASTM A193 B7 / B8, A320 L7 |
| Coatings | Hot-dip galvanizing to ISO 10684, zinc plating, zinc flake (Dacromet / Geomet), black oxide, Xylan |
| Quantities | From a one-tonne trial lot to a full 20GP or 40HQ container of mixed sizes |
Documentation package for bid submission
Most tenders are lost or delayed on paperwork rather than on price. Every shipment can be supplied with the following documents, issued per lot or per heat number:
| Document | What it covers |
|---|---|
| EN 10204 3.1 MTC | Mill test certificate traceable to the heat number — chemical composition and mechanical properties |
| ISO 9001:2015 certificate | Valid quality management certificate of the manufacturing plant |
| Third-party inspection | SGS, BV or TÜV pre-shipment inspection, dimensional and mechanical, at your nominated scope |
| Certificate of Origin | Issued through CCPIT / chamber of commerce, for customs and preferential duty purposes |
| Packing list & weights | Carton, pallet and container breakdown with net and gross weight per size |
| HS codes | 7318.15, 7318.16, 7318.22 and related headings, stated per line item |
| Delivery commitment | Signed production and shipping schedule aligned to your construction milestones |
| Pre-bid samples | Labelled samples with certificate copies, for submission with the technical envelope |
Standards and equivalence notes
If your bill of quantities cites a standard we do not list, send the clause and we will confirm the closest equivalent and the differences in writing — for example ISO 4014 versus DIN 931 across-flats, or the washer face and thread length differences between ASME and ISO heavy hex. This is the part of a bid that most often triggers a technical clarification, and it is better answered before submission than after award.
Projects we regularly supply
- Power transmission and substations — tower and gantry bolting, galvanized to ISO 10684, with hot-dip MTC per lot
- Rail and tramway maintenance — track fittings, fishplate bolts, clips and maintenance spares in recurring quantities
- Water treatment and pumping stations — stainless A2/A4 and hot-dip galvanized bolting for wet and outdoor locations
- EPC industrial plants — structural bolting, pipe supports and equipment anchoring across several standards in one shipment
- Ports and material handling — high-strength bolting for cranes, conveyors and steel structures
- Solar and wind — tracker and mounting hardware, HDG and zinc flake, container quantities
How a tender order runs with us
- Send the BOQ or RFQ Item, standard, size, quantity, coating and destination port are enough to start. A partial list is fine — we can quote what is specified and flag what is missing.
- Technical clarification within 24 hours We confirm equivalents, tolerances and any clause that needs a deviation note before you submit.
- Bid-ready quotation Unit prices on FOB, CIF or DAP terms, quote validity of 30–60 days, payment terms and lead time stated per line.
- Samples and pre-production approval Where the specification requires it, we produce samples with certificates before the bulk run starts.
- Production, inspection and documents Lot production, third-party inspection if required, then shipping documents issued against the schedule agreed in step 3.
What to send us
- Bill of quantities or item list (Excel, PDF or a photo of the schedule)
- Standard and property class per item, plus any project-specific specification
- Coating requirement and the environment it will serve
- Required delivery date, or the construction milestones if delivery is staged
- Destination port and preferred Incoterm
- Document list required by the tender — this decides the price as much as the steel does
Frequently asked questions
- Can you issue an EN 10204 3.1 certificate?
- Yes. 3.1 certificates are issued per heat number with chemical composition and mechanical properties. Where a tender asks for 3.2, we can arrange third-party witnessed testing and state the cost separately, because it changes both price and lead time.
- Can you work to a tender or ICB schedule?
- Yes. We quote with a validity period that covers typical bid evaluation windows, and we can hold prices for a defined period after award. Delivery can be staged to match construction milestones rather than shipped in one block.
- Do you accept third-party inspection?
- Yes — SGS, BV, TÜV or an inspector nominated by your client. Inspection scope, sampling plan and the resulting report language are agreed before production starts.
- What payment terms apply to project orders?
- Standard terms are 30% T/T deposit with 70% before shipment. For larger project quantities, letter of credit at sight and staged payments against shipping documents are both workable and are quoted case by case.
- Can one container mix several sizes and standards?
- Yes. Mixed containers are normal for project lots. We consolidate the sizes into one loading plan with a per-size packing list, so the site receives the material in the sequence the installation needs.
