Elevator Anchor Bolts – Zinc Plated Long-Sleeve Expansion Anchors

Elevator anchor bolts are long-sleeve expansion anchors used for heavy-duty fixing into concrete. As the nut is tightened the tapered mandrel is drawn into the sleeve, expanding it against the hole to create a very high pull-out resistance. These zinc plated versions are commonly used for fixing elevator guide rails, machinery and heavy equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are elevator anchor bolts?

They are long-sleeve expansion anchors engineered for heavy-duty fixing into concrete. The long sleeve gives a deep expansion zone and very high pull-out resistance — exactly what elevator guide rails and machinery foundations demand.

How do they work?

The anchor is placed in a drilled hole of matching diameter. As the nut is tightened, the tapered mandrel is drawn into the sleeve, forcing it to expand along its length against the hole wall. The result is a firm, high-load fixing that can be torqued immediately.

Why zinc plated instead of hot dip galvanized?

Zinc plating (yellow or blue-white) gives cost-effective indoor corrosion protection, which suits elevator shafts and indoor machinery bases. For damp or outdoor installations, hot-dip galvanized versions are recommended.

Do you provide material certificates?

Yes. Material test certificates per EN 10204 3.1 are available on request, and our manufacturing is ISO 9001:2015 certified. RoHS and REACH compliance documentation can also be provided.
