How do I choose the right rivet length and grip range?
The grip range is the total thickness of material the rivet will clamp. Add up the stack thickness and select a rivet whose grip range covers it — if the rivet is too short it cannot expand properly; too long and the tail may fold unevenly. We can help you select sizes from your panel thickness.
