Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose flat head (countersunk) solid rivets?

The 90° countersunk head finishes flush with the surface, so nothing protrudes. This gives a smooth, aerodynamic and snag-free surface — essential for panels, ducts and any part where a proud head would be unacceptable.

Do I need to countersink the holes?

Yes. The mating hole must be countersunk at the head side so the flat head seats flush. Drill, countersink, insert the rivet, then peen the tail on the reverse side to set the joint.

How do I select the correct rivet length?

The shank should pass through the full stack and protrude about 1 to 1.5 diameters beyond it to form the upset head. Send us your total material thickness and we will recommend the right length.

Do you provide material certificates?

Yes. Material test certificates per EN 10204 3.1 are available on request, and our manufacturing is ISO 9001:2015 certified. RoHS and REACH compliance documentation can also be provided.
